Pastor Denny Moses reports, on behalf of the team at Khagaria, Bihar, as follows…
“To God be the glory!
Annual Convention 2018
Beloved in Jesus Christ,
Greetings to you in His marvelous and wonderful name. By the Almighty Father’s grace, we all are fine in our ministry field. Though problems arise unfortunately in ministry fields, our Lord’s protective and graceful hands always keep us safe. We believe the same unchanging Father God cares for you and leads you. Our Lord’s name alone be glorified. And let us sing His praises as it is written in Psalm 13:6 “I will sing to the LORD, because He has dealt bountifully with me”.
In the past month, April 6th to 22nd, we were guided and motivated by the Holy Spirit to conduct this year’s Annual Convention in many field areas. The conventions days were arranged accordingly from 6th to 8th April in Balya field, from 13th to 15th April in Balabazar field and Rampur field and from 20th to 22nd in theMaheskhunt field. Our ACCI – Mission’s Former Bishop Rt. Rev. M Moses Barnabas (Present Area Chairman of Perungudi) Rev. John Kennedy (Area Pastor Chittalapakkam) and some other Pastors from other missions like GEMS [Gospel Echoing Mission Society] shared the word of God in those various places. The believers of these churches are strengthened more for Christ. By this convention 32 new believers had a confirmation to live for Christ and had baptism, two believers’ marriage were held, two new pastors were dedicated for two new fields, and 10 believers’ children dedications were conducted.
We thank the Lord, Everlasting for His abundant grace which led us to accomplish all these events fully. We praise our Master the Greatest.

On behalf of the outreach team in Khagaria, Pastor Denny Moses has sent a request seeking prayer for a fellow Christian worker with whom they have worked for some years. He wrote…
“Dear brothers and sisters in Christ
Please kindly uphold Missionary Pastor Christopher (in Begusarai, Bihar) who is an independent servant of God, serving for 20 years. For the last 3 years he has been facing problems from anti-Christian people (BJP, RSS, BAJARADAL & Hindu high caste people). He is alone and depending on God alone.
Kindly uphold him in your valuable prayers….”

In my October Asia Newsletter, I quoted from a report received from Pastor Denny Moses which gave details of their ministry in Khagaria, Bihar, for the months of September and October. Brother Denny Moses’ report included activities centred around the visit to Khagaria by Advent Christian Conference of India’s President, Rev. Francis Thangadurai, along with other senior pastors from Chennai. Among many activities they dedicated a new church building and the pastor’s quarters at Baliya; they dedicated another pastor’s child and they conducted the marriage service of one of their pastors – Brother Ramesh, to Sister Rani. Brother Denny Moses wrote as follows…
“On the same day (07/10/2017) Br. Rajesh and Sis. Rani‘s marriage and Br. Rakesh’s (Allouli Pastor) child’s dedication were celebrated. All the church believers & Pastors gathered to lift up the highest name of our Father on these two occasions. Child dedication and a marriage service were held – the bride Sis. Rani & the groom Br. Ramesh are both handicapped, Br. Ramesh has completed his Bible training in GEMS Bible School and continues to serve God as a pastor in our mission.
Kindly pray for them to get a handicapped scooter. As they are handicapped they are unable to get in or get out of any train & buses or any other vehicles. May our Lord fulfil their need by your valuable prayers.”
Brother Denny Moses also added a specific prayer request at the end of his report…
“5. Pray for newly married couple Br. Ramesh and Sis. Rani (at right) as they are physically handicapped, but they have committed their lives to serve God in Bihar. They are unable to walk like normal people, so they need a physically challenged vehicle. For that we need 90,000 Indian rupees [about NZ$2,010], please pray that God will provide for them so that they may do God’s work earnestly for His glory.”
Thank you to those who prayed, and thanks and praise to our Gracious God who answered our prayers through two members of His great, worldwide family here in New Zealand, who between them generously gave NZ$2,100. The funds were sent to Yesuway Jeevan Mission in Chennai who sent them on to Khagaria, and the vehicle has been purchases and handed over to Brother and Sister Ramesh and Rani.
Pastor Paul Sundar Raj, who leads the team in Khagaria has sent the following letter of appreciation, and some pictures of the vehicle and of Ramesh and Rani.
“Praise the Lord
Beloved Iya,
In the greatest name of Jesus Christ, I wish you all .As the verse says “The Lord is My Shepherd I Shall not want” Our God has made us fulfilled our prayer request. The Handicapped new couple ro. Ramesh and Rani’s unimaginable expectation is fulfilled only and purely by the grace of God with your giving hearts. Really, we are wordless to express our thanks for your unforgettable help towards our Bihar ministries – as the verses says in Matthew 25:45
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
Definitely, Lord will remember you throughout your life time.
May God Bless You.
Thank You
Yours Lovingly
Paul Sundar Raj & Team”

Brother Denny Moses tells me that Sister Rani is not yet able to ride the vehicle, but will be learning to do so very soon, and assures me that the vehicle will comfortably carry them both together when necessary.
I have pointed out to Brother Paul Sundar Raj that I was merely the channel for the provision of the vehicle and that God deserves all the glory!

Letter of appreciation from PASTOR PAUL SUNDAR RAJ, leader of the ACCI outreach team in KHAGARIA, BIHAR
Pastor Paul Sundar Raj has sent the following letter of appreciation, with Christmas and New Year greetings from his team in Bihar. Brother Paul went to Bihar, in answer to a very strong call from God, in February 1999. He went there as a single man (alone and unmarried) and has been there ever since and his dynamic and God-centred leadership has brought the ministry to what it is today. What is it today?
At the end of 2017, there were 11 churches with a total of 13 pastors ministering in them. There was a total of 2,000 members in the 11 churches, with 80 baptisms and 250 new believers joining the churches during 2017. 2,000 children attended VBS during the Indian summer and 17 infants were dedicated to the Lord during the year. They have 20 prayer cells attached to various churches, and during the year they distributed 300,000 tracts and 800,000 New Testaments. Finally, they sent 3 of their believers for full-time study for the ministry at GEMS (Gospel Echoing Missionary Society) BIBLE COLLEGE.
St Xavier’s School – English Medium – which is the ministry’s major “bridge” into the community, and which now teaches well over 1,000 students each year, had 100% of their students who sat the Indian Government’s Standard 10 Board Exams pass, with 15 of them receiving 100% marks in every subject they wrote an exam!
He has also sent pictures of the key members of his team both at St Xavier’s High School and of the outreach ministries, and asks for regular, believing prayer that the Lord will continue to use them all during 2018 to share the Gospel and the message of God’s love in Jesus Christ with the people of Khagaria.
From Left to Right: Pastors Rajesh, Sathurdhan, Rakesh, Santhosh, Bipin, Dilkush, Sushil, Arjun Gabriel, Samuvel Templar, Deepak Kumar, Punidev, Lakhan and Saurav.
Teachers at St Xavier’s High School. Most of these teachers are Christians, many of whom have come from Chennai to Bihar as missionaries and have had to learn a new language.
Please pray that the Lord will call more such men and women for service in Bihar.

On behalf of the team in Khagaria, Bihar, Pastor Denny Moses has asked for prayer as follows…
“Sister. Renu is living in Navtolia village (Christu Nagar) Khagaria. She is getting much trouble due to accepting Jesus Christ as her Savior. The whole village people are opposing her, and they have arranged a panchayat* judgement to give some punishment. Please pray for her to be relieved from all the captivities and troubles pray that our Almighty Lord’s wonderful hand should keep her safe among the villages.
{*The panchayat is the elected village council.}
Pray for the newly bought the church land
We are about to establish a church. An agreement was made for the land after many detailed enquiries, even the government land department officials also assured us to buy. Through this confirmation the land owners had most of the amount paid in advance. Now the same land surveyor has included our land in the lake area. Therefore we are unable to register the land. Kindly put this prayer request in your valuable prayers. The officials who included the land in the lake should rewrite the rules and declare that the land is excluded from the lake.
TO GOD BE THE GLORY
In our Advent church Khagaria Bihar’s branch field at Bakri village, our field worker Pas. Gabriel is doing the service of God. One of the village men was famous for his witchcraft, also he was against the Gospel and threatened the villagers by using some black magic, but he was touched by the Gospel through the pastor and accepted Jesus as his personal Savior. Now he is glorifying Lord by sharing his witness in various churches and villages. Please pray continually for him to be baptised.
A political party leader, Mr. Dharmendra Mahto, also accepted Jesus as his personal Savior. It is very difficult to come to Christ from such a background because he has to face big problems in his party, and among people and communities, but our Heavenly Father’s love made him to accept Jesus and he has taken baptism. Please pray for him.”

Pastor Paul Sundar Raj, leader of the team in Khagaria, Bihar reports as follows…
“Annual fasting prayer Report 2017
Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. By the grace of God, we are doing well in our ministry, with a vision in Bihar ministry field. God Almighty is always with us so that we are heading forward to extend His mightiest Kingdom.
In October on we conducted 3 days fasting prayer in five different places – in Mahesh Kutt, Rampur, Baliya, Bala Bazar and Khagaria.
Previously this prayer camp was held at our Khagaria School Campus but that was too difficult for accommodation and the believers had to travel long distances to come here. Due to these reasons, we divided 5 places to conduct that one prayer camp; through this more believers attended. On the final day, 36 persons were baptised.
To share the word of God 4 pastors were arranged in three different places. From our AC mission in Chennai Rev. Paul Victor Jones (the Area Chairman of Sozhinganallur, Chennai) came to deliver God’s word. After 13 years he visited Bihar with a burden for perishing souls. He collected offerings and bought 2 strangers (Audio System), clothes for the Missionaries, Pastors and their kids, and snacks. He gave RS. 40,000/- for the Convention expenses.
We thank God’s people who cared for the Bihar ministry and supporting in prayer. May our Heavenly Father bless us with His richness. God bless us.

Beloved Brothers /Sisters,
We requested you to pray for Pr. Shatrugan, as he was undergoing persecution. The village forced him to leave the place otherwise they would beat him. But through your valuable prayer & by our everlasting Father’s Grace, the village was quiet on that day especially the District Headman, Village President and the vigilantes did not make any threat to Pr. Shatrugan.
After this 20 police constables announced to the whole village and in marketplaces not to threaten any Christians in the village. Our wonderful Savior has done marvellous things for us.
However, some Brahmin caste people, BJP, RSS party members are misguiding the village people – they are not allowing them to go to churches and saying that if they go to church they should leave all the Hindu rituals, and they forced the 40 believers to stop attending church.
Please continue your prayer support for the people who still create some problems.
We thank you for your earnest prayer
Your brother in Christ

Pastor Denny Moses sent the following report:
“Bihar Report from March to June 2017
Greetings to you in the name of Jesus Christ. We are blessed and doing well in our Bihar field. We hope the same for you, all through the grace of our Heavenly Father We thank you for your valuable prayer and concern for our ministry in Bihar. By the grace of God and your prayer support our ministry (is) progressing day by day.
God was so good to us in past months, we could conduct the spiritual meetings and other ministry work to extend the kingdom of God.
In the month of January Rajakpur church’s compound wall construction was completed. Pray that in the forth-coming days we can build the church there.
We conducted a worship seminar in our school and there was a students’ meeting. Most of our school students participated and heard the word of God by Pastor Jacob from Trichy, Tamil Nadu.
In our school God enabled us to complete the session 2016-17 and we have started the new session. The grace of God was with school activities. The level of student education has grown gradually – please continually pray for the school – building construction work has not started yet. Let our God meet the needs to construct the School
Every year we conduct the Annual Convention in our school campus but this year instead of a particular place we have conducted it in three different areas. So that more people came and participated in that spiritually. The meetings were held respectively at Bala Bazar, Mahesh Kutt and Rampur. The area pastors organized all the activities of the meeting, the speakers came from different places and through their sharing God’s Word the people were blessed. On the last day, the area pastor gave baptism to new believers and the Head Missionary Pastor M. Paul Sundar Raj delivered God’s word with right hand of fellowship and Holy Communion.
Pastor Santosh and Missionary Samuvel Templar giving baptism to believers.
Br. Ramesh, a person with a disability has completed one year Bible training at GEMS {Gospel Echoing Missionary Society} and has dedicated his life to serving the Lord.
